Proteus II 5mm | Women’s

£418.00 C Eco-Rating

Fourth Element’s Proteus II wetsuits are AMAZING. The Honest Diver Team wears the 5mm version in our training tank all year round and in the sea in the summer months.

They’re flexible, easy to put on (after a little bit of practice) and toasty warm – especially if you combo up with some Thermocline base layers and a decent hood!

I looooove my Proteus II 5mm. It’s so comfy and the fit is flattering. The only thing is that the bib takes a bit of practice to pull over your head by yourself if your buddy isn’t around… but then, I am probably the least flexible person!

Manufacturer's Bumph

The 5mm suit is a versatile performer. With improved fit, the suit is easier to don than the classic Proteus, but its thermal performance is even better. We recommend the 5mm suit for prolonged dives in temperatures of 19C and warmer. To get more out of any wetsuit in colder waters, combine it with a Thermocline vest and shorts underneath and use a hood (3mm or 5mm).

THE PROTEUS II RANGE: ADVANCED WETSUIT TECHNOLOGY

The warmest 3mm dive wetsuit on the market and the highest performing 5mm wetsuit in its class according to independent testers.

The Hydrolock neck seal minimises water ingress combined with the Hexcore thermal lining to maximise warmth.

The Proteus II is arguably the highest performing wetsuit on the market.

Available in 3mm and 5mm the Proteus II is often the benchmark to which other suits are compared in terms of warmth.

By combining the now famous Hydrolock inner neck seal and Glideskin wrist seals, water ingress is minimised.

Seams are double glued, blind stitched and taped to provide outstanding thermal protection throughout the dive.

Additional Hexcore linings on the body core provide enhanced thermal performance where it is most needed for prolonged water exposure.
